Established in 1995, Halpin Solutions has steadily built on its mission to create diverse products that empower and improve the lives and industries of those they serve. With a passion for design and development in multiple markets, the company’s product portfolio has grown to include six products, with more in development. Halpin Solutions is proud to support people and industries with their expansive scope - automotive, music, commercial, hospitality, retail, sporting goods, medical, and aerospace product development and more.

Our Founder

Sean Halpin is a designer, inventor, engineer, and mentor with a passion for project development in multiple industries. For both his own projects and those of other inventors, he has been instrumental in bringing diverse products to market for almost 30 years. 

With a Master's Degree in aerospace manufacturing from UCLA, he has become one of the most diverse engineers and inventors in the industry. His company has designed and released over 100,000 individual automotive parts for products including Ford Mustang, F150, Indian Motorcycle, Freightliner Trucks, Peterbilt Trucks, International Trucks, Dodge, Ram, BMW, Aston Martin, Polaris Razor and more. He has designed and engineered products such as the B2 Bomber and Atlas Rocket. He was the force behind Product Inspection for the SpaceX Rocket and Tesla body design, and has been a supplier for decades for Ford, Chrysler and many more. After the Space Shuttle crash in 1986, he was called into the Atlas Rocket Plant to restart the Atlas program to launch nine payloads that were stranded. His resilient nature has made him adaptable to the industry’s ups and downs. 

Halpin has many patents and is not stopping. With a passion for creation and helping humanity, he is a man on a mission.

  Creations for Diverse Needs 

• Perfect for indoor or outdoor use PuttAnywhere, is a game changer as the first cutting target that looks like a golf hole.
• String Light Covers allow you to personalize indoor or outdoor light strings with images for personal use or marketing needs - family, friends, company/brand logos, pro sports teams, hospitality industry, etc. 
• GrabitProducts is series of restaurant products that also act as a convenient phone or tablet stand for customers, especially helpful with remote work. 
• Grammy Award Winning musicians call Goonis Pick, a 3D asymmetrical guitar pick, the best they’ve ever used. 
• The disc golf industry was lacking a good disc retriever, until DiscTreever came to market.
• PowerSk8r has changed the ice hockey industry. Launched in 2009, these training tools are now in USA and Canada and soon England, Germany and Sweden. They’ve become a Five Star rated number one seller on Amazon. Parents say that they have never seen such speed gains since their kids began wearing PowerSk8r skate weights.

In Development and COMING SOON

• Power Putter is a multi-use novelty item for golfers and was inspired by not having a charging station on the golf course. This Dewalt-style putting grip charges multiple objects - phones, fans, Weedwhackers, flashlights and more.
• In response to the deaths and trauma in the scooter rental industry, Halpin patented a scooter helmet rental system called USA Smart Helmet.
• He is working on a boat hoist that can lift a 4000-pound boat with a drill motor.

Previous Developments

• In 2007, when both parents passed away within 90 days of each other, he was inspired to help other cancer patients and developed Proud Mary Prosthetics, a patented external silicone breast prosthesis called Air Hugs. 
• He has worked on products for Microsoft including the Microsoft Surface Tablet. 
• Highly in demand in many hotels, he worked with the company Silent Call alert system to assist blind, deaf, and handicapped people to be alerted when there is a fire or disaster. 

Mentorship and Staffing

Halpin’s staffing division has employees in automotive studios including Clay Modeler‘s, Stylus, Digital Modelers and Program Managers. 

He has also helped and inspired many inventors, including Larry Kelly who invented the Gyro swing golf training product. The product was on the Golf Channel’s Fore Inventor’s Only TV show. Larry placed six out of 500 and was then purchased by Skilz Training Products Corp. 

Training over 20 young hopeful students to become automotive design digital modelers is Halpin’s proudest legacy. He took on hungry young people and mentored them in the design of automotive body and interior parts. They now work globally, and many have become design leaders. 

A Purpose-Driven Life

The adaptability to new products has helped Halpin make it through tough times like the 2008 stock market crash and recent Covid shutdowns. While his competitors have faded away, his resilience has kept him focused on new products and serving others. While the 2008 Stock Market crash devastated many, he was out working for Meals on Wheels to deliver food to the unfortunate seniors that lacked mobility support and family to bring them food.

Halpin‘s personal life is equally passion-filled. When not working, he spends his time skiing, snowboarding, golfing, surfing, mountain biking, mountain climbing, hiking, and wakeboarding…things that keep him inspired him to stay active and push the limits. Learn more here.
